Delivery:
The Spa will be delivered on either a trailer or
a flat bed vehicle, please ensure that there is adequate access for such a
vehicle.
The Spa will be sited using a Spa dolly,
consisting of a metal structure with 4 wheels.
Please remember that the Spa can be moved onto
its side. This generally allows the spa to be manoeuvred through narrow doors
and entrances.
IMPORTANT: The Spa will arrive as a unit
and cannot be dismantled.
Access:
Are your doors, gates or alleyways large enough
(with no prominent obstructions) to allow the Spa to pass through?
Does the Spa need to be taken over lawn or
gravel? If so, boards maybe required.
Occasionally, a crane is required to
position the Spa (If access is otherwise impossible). This can be arranged for the
customer at an additional cost.
Is there enough room to access the Spa once
placed in the desired position? It is recommended that there is access to all
four sides of the spa. However, the most important access point is underneath
the control panel.
As a general rule, we supply two men to deliver
and commission your Spa, however, we may need assistance if access is difficult
or with larger Spas.
A firm flat surface (i.e. concrete paving slabs
or brick paving) is needed to take the weight of the Spa. Spas cannot be sited
directly onto grass as they will sink and result in damage to the Spa and the
lawn. An incorrect base will invalidate the warranty of the Spa.
An outside tap with a hosepipe will be required
in order to fill the Spa.
Electrics:
An approved Electrician is required to install
the permanent connection (hardwired) to the main's supply.
In order to switch the Spa off at source, a
waterproofed, Isolated switch should be fitted a minimum of two metres from the
Spa and a cable run to the back of the Spa with a four metre tail. N.B.
Our installers will only be responsible for the connection of this tail to the
Spa which must have been tested prior to installation by a qualified
electrician.
Electrical Supply Requirements:
From 16 to 30 amp. connection (30mA trip) R.C.D.
protected circuit. Amperage required is dependant upon which Spa model is
purchased.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Any metal objects
within reach of the Spa must be earth bonded to the Spa by you Electrician.
Chemicals:
A Chemical starter kit is included in the
purchase price of your Spa, in order to maintain the quality and safety of your
Spa water.
It is important to check the water in your Spa
regularly, adding the correct amount of chemicals will keep the Spa water clean
and prevents possible damage to Spa components.
Crystal Waters Spas UK recommend and stock
Fi-Clor chemicals. Please check our Chemicals page for more information. N.B.
Failure to use the appropriate chemicals could invalidate your Spa warranty.
